HIRUZTA TXAKOLI WINERY

The Hiruzta Txakoli Winery is the Rekalde family’s dream. This txakoli-loving family, with excitement and enthusiasm, has recovered the centuries-old tradition of txakoli production for the city of Hondarribia, the birthplace of the Hondarrabi Zuri. The winery now extends over 10 hectares at the foothills of Jaizkibel Mountain, an optimum location for planting txakoli vineyards.
After a guided tour of the winery, visitors can enjoy an exquisite lunch. Here are the dishes on offer:

FROM WEDNESDAY TO FRIDAY
“Gildas” (anchovy, spicy pepper and sardine, impaled on a toothpick) and homemade croquettes
Warm salad with young garlic and king prawns, or cream of spinach with egg and Iberian ham
